LCWG Writing Prompt of the Season

If you face the dreaded writers' block, try one of these to bring your muse around:

"Our Letters" ✉✉

Imagine any two people around 50 years from now. They try an experiment and write personal letters the old school way, in ink on paper by snail mail (which surprisingly still exists). Their exchange feels different than social media.

Write a short (~1 page) piece about these two people, their letters, and their reactions. In your writing, try to illustrate the differences in effect of the two styles of communication. How do they feel and what are the surprises? Illustrate with actions that 'show the story'. This will be practice, only for yourself; you need not share it with anyone--so be honest and start writing.

"My Dialog with..."

Write a conversation you have or wish to have with a person or thing! Be creative. As above, this is fun and practice.
