Greetings to our Creative Writing Community,

The Litchfield Community Writers Group is a 501(c)(3) public charitable organization supporting amateur creative writing in the Litchfield County, Connecticut area. We seek to assist others in enjoying the fun and rewards of creative writing. The outlet of creative expression is for everyone with a story to tell or who simply could use a creative break from their daily routine.

We were a successful open-membership community writers' group from 2011 to 2025. During that time, we published 12 anthology books featuring the works of Litchfield County writers. Although we no longer meet as an open-membership group, we are open to new attendees. If you have questions or are interested, please email irenezw11@outlook.com

Due to its popularity, we continue the LINKS page on this website. Limited copies of our Best of The Litchfield Community Writers Group anthology series, as shown on our BOOKS page, are still available upon request.
